Weather Discussion for NYC Tri-State Region |
Forecast Discussion - Updated on: 9/18/2016 - 9:30 PM
A slow moving cold front, combined with moisture from former tropical storm Julia will produce a moderate rainfall across the tri-state area. Conditions will slowly improve by late Monday. High pressure and continued unseasonably warm weather will persist this upcoming week, with the next chance of any significant rainfall not coming until early next week, when another cold front passes. It does appear that we may finally cool off during the last week of September, as a much cooler air mass filters southward out of Canada. This will likely feature the coolest temperatures since last Spring.
