Welcome to Weatherjay.com! This site is dedicated to 2 hobbies that I enjoy most: Weather and Web Development... oh, and a little football pool!
About 7 or 8 years ago, as I gained experience in web development and building applications, I decided
to put together an online football pool that consisted of ranking picks. There was a site that had previously
hosted such a site and it was dissapointing to see it go. The site I quickly threw together was very crude and needed
a lot of manual updates to maintain. My friends and I used it for one season, but it was too much work.
During the past year and half, I decided to work on a more ambitious project and rebuild a new football pool
from scratch, but make it a more comprehensive application, which required less maintence. Initially, my vision
of my new site was just a football pool, but the idea grew into the opportunity to establish weatherjay.com.
I have a unique background consisting of a Meteorology undergraduate degree and an Information Systems graduate degree.
My goals are to establish a unique set of services based on specialized, small business needs in web development and weather forecasting consulting. Please visit

I am also an advocate in teaching kids about science, and especially sharing my love of the weather. I am looking
to become involved in educating kids about weather and giving those who are interested, the
knowledge and tools to pursue this exciting field.
The NFL Rank 'em pool application was developed by me and is one example of the type of applications that
are possible through my service. While you're here, I hope you'll have some fun and join the football pool.

Oh, and just one more thing. You might be wondering... why the crocodile logo? Well, this is kind of an inside
joke with a couple of close friends. Though weatherjay is my more common nickname, they sometimes call me
"crockyjay" or "the crock". It's a long story. More recently, some co-workers at my place of work know me as "Nadojay" and I've recently began doing raps.
